16 Yr Old Is Bypassing Password In Safe Mode. How Do I Keep Him Off The Computer?
| June 24, 2009 | Posted by HTBP under How to Bypass |
Short of taking the hard drive, I have run out of options. 16 year old son is bypassing my password on Windows and accessing the computer.
Can he get online in safe mode? Can I prevent this at all?
I actually made up a story that I put a spyware program on here that even HE can't crack, but that will only last so long......
There is a program called PC Pandora, which logs all keystrokes, takes pictures of web sites they visit and even keeps track of all internet chat conersations no matter what program they are using. It cost $50.00 but it is worth it. This way, you won't be making up the story about installing a spy program. It runs in stealth mode and you can create your own keystorke password to open it up.
Also, as mentioned by the other user, taking your network cable with you will work until he finds another one anyway....
1. Change your password.
# 2. If this is your computer, you are the administrator, limit use until you place permission.
# 3. Learn the MSDOS language that actually runs the Windows Operating System. Evidently he knows it and knows how to bypass. It's not that difficult.
# 4 Take his access away.
My children, ages 14 - 21 once thought that they could access what they wanted, they did not know that I was using the "root" systems with the "command" languages, bypassing their so called operating systems.
The younguns of today think they are smarter than us old timers, they just don't realize that technology was invented by us. History is doomed to repeat itself, and they are doomed to be fools until they are properly educaed, and then educate others.
I have forgotten more than they will ever learn. LOL
Yes as a matter of fact he can get on the internet in safe mode. The best you can do without drastically taking the hard drive, Is remove the RAM. If you don't know how to do it the go here:http://www.associatedcontent.com/video/3...
unplug the internet cable, and take it... taht way no internet is possible...
