Can certified pharmacy techs w/IV experience “bypass” some of the coursework to become a pharmacist?

Question by Elle: Can certified pharmacy techs w/IV experience “bypass” some of the coursework to become a pharmacist?
In other words,if I could exempt a small percentage of pursuing a PharmD…..how much longer would I have in college?
Oh,I know there is absolutely no comparison.I was just curious…. : )

No you cannot bypass any coursework. A pharmacy technician is no where near as educated as a pharmacist. It takes a minimum of 7 years of undergraduate and graduate coursework to become a pharmacist.
