Can You Connect A Lcd Monitor To A Cable Box?
| November 30, 2009 | Posted by HTBP under How to Bypass |
I have a 19inch LCD mounted on my wall conected to a computer that is connected to a cable box. Is there a way to bypass the computer all together? and connected the cable box directly to the lcd monitor? some type of box or cable
Sure- assuming your cable box and monitor both have an HDMI plug on them.
Add in the model of your monitor to your post so we know exactly what connections it have on it.
Going from coax to VGA will be tough, but not impossible.
lol - that C64 monitor was easy though - since it was essentially a TV to start with!! (Have a complete C64 in the basement right now!!)
u ned a cable thats compatible with both of ur monitor and comp see the plug and check if they r the same read the serial and go buy it then ull need some thing that i dono how its called in english but it makes the cable in 2 a kind of adapter that duals the cable then u should have no problems
call your cable company or use the internet
If you have the proper cables you can. In college we had a comodore 64 monitor as a tv.
yea I am old
