For VM USA? No. ONLY Virgin Mobile USA phones can be used with their plans. They control their system access via electronic serial numbers which are on a list . If an attempt is made to put an outside phone on their system, it will fail.

  1. No, you cannot. Virgin mobile is a prepaid phone company as you probably know, and because of that, they do not use SIM cards, which is what you would usually to to “unlock” a phone. For example: you could use a Sprint Plan on an unlocked Verizon phone, cause major companies like verizon, use SIM cards, and minor companies like Virgin Mobile, do not. So, no you can’t, or Virgin Mobile would be out of business, seeing how people would only purchase the plans, and not there lame phones. Haha.
