| November 28, 2009 | Posted by HTBP under How to Bypass |
Mazda astina 323 sp20 2001 model...
i lost my keys!!
i called Mazda they said i have to get a new computer immobilizer and key which will cost me over $4000... my car is not even worth much more then that!!! can anyone give me any advice???
a locksmith will be your best bet.
However, if they cant help with the immobilizer...
try going to a salvage yard and grabbing the ignition column and the computer from a similar car.
The salvage yard will prob be your cheapest route...but a little more labor on your side...but it may be worth the savings than going to the dealership
You may not need the computer but better get everything in one shot.
I swapped over a switchblade keyset from a 2004 RX8 to a 1993 MX3 with no problems.
You can actually buy bypass tools online for like $15, hell of a lot cheaper than $4,000. Technically legal if you lost your original keys, so go for it.
Get a locksmith out, surely you can sort another lock and key out and have it programed.
yes I know how
call a lock smith and they probably can help you ,, lots of luck !!!!!!!!!!
Yes, a very easy one although i can only send you instructions by email in case unscrupulous people get it.
Mr. Martin,
I'm in a similar situation. My car has been sitting in my garage for three years. I wrecked the car and I've finally got around to fixing it. Well it's all done but I've lost my only key. I bought a new cylynder with a key from eBay but it won't start. If you could kindly email me instructions on how to program it I'd be very greatful.
Thanks,
