There are hacks posted at a number of hacking sites.
The recommended procedure is to take the laptop to an IBM service center with proof of ownership, and have them reset the password.</description>

		<description>Assuming u saying that theres a password on the bios! remove battery and power cable open the laptop find your RAM and look for a battery close by  remove it switch on the laptop that should reset the bios password then u can put the battery back on!</description>
