How Do I Bypass The Internet Radio Filter My Office Has Placed On All Office Computers?

I want to listen to talk radio on my office computer but with this filter on all the computers, I can’t get to the local radio stations website, is their a direct link to the webcast without going through the web site?
I’m in Houstou, Texas and looking to get KPRC950

  1. Websites which have been blocked in many offices can be accessed. Here are some tricks that might help :
1.Proxy server :Use a proxy server to access restricted sites.A proxy server (or proxies) is a normal computer that hides the identity of computers on its network from the Internet. Which means that only the address of the proxy server is visible to the world and not of those computers that are using it to browse the Internet. Just visit the proxy server website with your Web browser and enter a URL (website address) in the form provided.
    List of Proxy servers
Just click on this link and it will take you to a page having a long list of proxies. You can either choose one yourself or let the service choose a random proxy for you.You can now visit any site with these proxy servers.
Also bookmark the DMOZ directory of free web-based proxy services and DMOZ directory of free proxy servers .
2.Use softwares for getting proxies:There are several softwares available for using proxies.Just search on google to get an endless list.
One of them is Hide ip platinum.Get it at…
3.Convert ip to decimal:The third trick may work at some places and wont at others. This is a lesser known trick i came across recently.Suppose you want to access
    Go to start->run type cmd.
Now type ping (space between ping and www)
You will get an ip address for, note it down.
    Now go to
Enter the ip in the enter ip address field and press calculate. You will get an address in Decimal field. This is it.Copy this address and type it in your browser,if lucky or any other blocked site for which you do this should open.
For example, for orkut you get the decimal address as http://1208930645

  2. Why not just get a pocket radio with headphones and listen to it that way?
Video and audio feeds take a lot of bandwidth. If it’s a small company, the bandwidth is costing them money. It’s taking away from the available bandwidth for legitimate company business (e-mail, web site visits, etc). The bandwidth you’re taking could be used by customers ordering products which pay your salary.

  3. Don’t do it. If they have security measures in place on your computer; they are there for a reason. Don’t bypass them or you could be placing the company in jeopardy.

  4. you office must be using a firewall.. setting are not on each you are just wasting your time by looking for that..
i don’t feel so that you can bypass your firewall so better pay attention to your work in office than listening radio

  5. Be careful…sounds like you have a strict work environment. If they are anal enough to block radio stations then I guarantee you they have monitoring software installed on all the Office PC’s and know exactly what is typed, clicked and done on every PC.
If you persist on trying, they may notice the activity and you may get in trouble.
