How Do I Get Into A Password Protected Computer At Work?

I know with Windows XP you can hit F8 while the computer is starting up and log in to administrator in safe mode and change the users password. They recently fired a guy and I use his computer and I had to get into that way. However, there's this old-as-dirt computer that I believe has Windows 2003 on it, and when you turn it on, it asks you to press ctrl+alt+delete and then prompts you for a password. I tried hitting F8 before the computer turned on, and nothing happened. I tried again and held F8 down and it just beeped. People come to me with computer questions a lot, and they asked me to fix it and I assumed I could because I thought the computer would have XP on it, but it doesn't. Does anyone know how to bypass this? No one knows the password.
It says "Windows Server 2003 R2" on the "control/alt/delete to begin" screen. That's about all I know about it.
Thanks so much.
If you just need data off the PC, take the hard drive out and slave it to another computer. As long as he didn't use encryption on it, you'll be able to access all the files on with no problem.
First thin; try logging in as Admin, type "Administrator" (without quotes) in the login, and leave the password blank. Hopefully the password on Admin hasnt been changed and you can gain access to the piece of dirt computer =)
If that doesn't work I dont't know what to tell you. I'm not really great with Win.2003

download the liveCD version, burn the iso image to a cd and boot the computer from the cd and go to local SAM. select the locked account and click crack. that should get you in. you can also simply reinstall XP
What you need to do since you said that the pc is old is open up the case, and close to the CMOS battery you will see a little jumper. Make sure the pc is off, then before touching anything inside, rub your hand around the frame to release any static discharge. Then look at the position of the little jumper and lift it off and place one end on another pin. Start up pc and then turn off. Make sure to rub the frame again and replace little jumper back to the way it first was. Put case cover back on and start pc. Now you can put in a password in BIOS or just wait until log in screen.
The convenient and easy way is to use some windows password recovery tool that can reset Administrator password for you within a few minutes automatically! it supports windows vista password reset.
