How Do I Unblock My Cellphone?

My Verizon cell phone is for some reason on everyone's caller id as unknown, blocked, or some variation of that. It is annoying because my friends think I'm a sales call and always ask me why my number is blocked, and a few friends I can't even call with it, because it is auto-blocked.
Take it into Verizon and ask them to fix the problem.
