Question by Mr. Fabulous: How do you block a certain or particuliar E-mail address from entering your own Yahoo E-mail account?
For instance, to stop a certain someone from E-mailing at this time, but maybe at a later time, so as to keep my current Yahoo E-mail account open. Also, would they get a failure notice on their end, stating that their E-mail attempt was blocked?

On your Yahoo mail page just click on OPTIONS, up towards the right side of the screen.
From there, click on BLOCK ADDRESSES. You can then add whatever email address you want to block. If later you decide you want to “unblock” the address, you just go back to your block list, highlight the address, and click “unblock”.
Depending on what email service they are using, they might get a message saying it was “undeliverable” and they might not.
If you don’t want to take that chance, then on the same option page you found the “block addresses” link, click on FILTERS.
By setting up a “filter” for the address, you can automatically redirect it to be sent to either your “bulk” or “trash” folders.
