If it asks for a password before you get to windows, then it is in the BIOS. You need to reset the CMOS by taking out the CMOS battery for a while and then putting it back. If it is a laptop, it would be a bit more challenging.

NO, DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY. There is usually jumpers you can short together, turn on pc, shut down, un-short, jumpers, restart a few times.
If a password was set at windows screen and you don’t know it, your screwed.

If you mean the login password, there should be one of the control panels that you can turn it off (perhaps an auto login option)… I’m on a Mac, so I can’t go check and tell you for sure… if you’re on a Mac, in OSX. go to System Preferences and under the User Profiles tab there’s a checkbox for auto login that will disable the password screen…
If the password is kicking up before windows or if you don’t have the password… i have no idea… and good luck with that

depends on the os as well…
try changeing the user to Administrator and hit enter…
if that doesn’t work … there isn’t a way around it…especially if the cmos trick doesn’t work…
