How Do You Unblock Ya Ears?

i suddenly had my ears blocked by ear wax i guessed. and further worsen it when i used a q tip to remove it after using some ear cleaner that doesnt resolve the blockage.
When I was a kid my mom would warm up baby oil (not too hot! you can hurt yourself) then she would pour it in my ear while I laid on my side. It worked mostly, and if you get it not too hot and not too cold, it feels nice.
When you've let it sit in your ear canal for a while, hold a towel or something against your ear and sit up and let the oil come out. The baby oil gets all over the place, no matter how careful you are, and it will leave oil stains on your clothes, so make sure you do it somewhere you can easily clean and don't wear your favourite shirt.
The doctor recommended that as something that you can do for waxy blocked ears, but said you should not do often. But that was a long time ago, so maybe today they would tell you something different.
Don't use Q-tips, you're just pushing the wax further in and you can hurt yourself.
Go see a doctor, they've special equipment to remove ear wax.
