there is this method, the command prompt. i get the numbers, but when i go to the site it does not ask me for my password? is there something else that i'm not doing?

Most likely the administrator was smart enough to put a password on what you are configuring.
Anyway I can't help you, doing this is a criminal misdemeanor when unblocking sites from school computers.
