Dammit if they say hacking it one more time imma kill everybody hacking can not be done unless your connected to via internet ffs ok back to your question there is 1 way very danger's called playing with bios normal f8 if have a flash drive you could flash the bios and it would free it because basicly the bio's hold all the info for pw's to the admin
number 2.buying another motherboard would solve the problem one because its a new bio's system but the cheapest and faster way is flashing the bio's just google flashing bio's :) it works ive done it a few times with couple of my friends computers yes it cost money but its the cheapest and you could save from reformatting but if you dont have anything on there to loose reformat :) anymore problems e-mail me @ xxdarklotusxx@swbell.net
Editting this remove the battery wtf lol the battery holds your time on your pc has nothing to do with pw's its all about the bios

I haven't had a lot of luck trying to bypass the passwords in windows. Microsoft had to get something right.
The problem IS NOT in your bios so ignore all the suggestions about the bios as they are not going to help at all. If you can't guess the password you can install a fresh copy of windows over the existing one. Don't reformat or anything, just boot to the CD and run the install. It will overwrite the windows directory but leave all the other files in place.Installed programs will mostly have to be reinstalled but you won't lose any documents or non-windows license files from it.

What a bunch of useless answers! First off, the F8 trick only works if there's no Administrator passsword set in the first place. Given that, there's no reason to go into safe mode, you could log on the usual way. And messing with the BIOS password won't help either, it's not the same thing. Try this site and see if it helps. I've used it a number of times.http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/....
This will break syskey on an XP box. Not a big deal on XP Home but if it's XP Pro you will lose access to any encrypted files or folders. If that's an issue, seek out a computer shop with a copy of ERD Commander. They'll probably charge $50.00 or so to reset the Administrator account password -- the software is expensive, hence the charge.
Hmmm... One thought on "My Last One" Your last-born child?

There are many ways to recover or delete XP password:
1- try 'XP password recovery' (I don't know it is work now or not. but I have worked with it and it has worked.)
2- if you make a password disk use it ( but I sure you didn't make it).
3- you must hack your pasword.(it is little proffesional solution). try to copy "sam" file in somewhere else in other operation system.(like linux) then try to crack it by "l0ft crack" software.
(I explain the way in very simple way. try to find more information on hack sites)
4- the last solution is to format your computer and install your xp again.
With little try I sure you will success.

I'm a computer techician and had to reset the XP password lots of times. Bostonian is right most answers are crap. His link got cut off, so i'm just helping you find what he said.
Easiest way to do it:
go to ebay, search for "reset windows password". You'll pay $10 or under, shipping included. Wait a few days for the CD to arrive, and follow the easy instructions.
$10 is a great deal if you're not familiar with burning ISO files; save yourself the time and get an already made cd :)
OH WAIT!!! there's a chance you forgot to put a password on your administrator account. Try this first before you buy the CD! (I'm copying/pasting a previous answer found on yahoo answers: )
1) Shut down your computer.
2) Power up your computer and tap F8 repeatedly until the "Boot Choices" menu appears. You'll know its the right menu because it won't go away after a few seconds.
3) Select "Boot in safe mode" and press enter.
4) When you get to the windows welcome screen, log in with the account named "Administrator" and change the password in your account.
5) Restart normally and log in with your new password.
Happy New Year!
