Question by : iPod Touch 4G… NEED HELP PLEASE!!!?
Hi, I have an iPod Touch 4G that I JUST got at Christmas time, and it has always been an excellent running iPod. I have never dropped it, sat on it, got it wet, etc. It was working perfectly fine last night, and when I went to sleep, I left it on my Alarm Clock app. My alarm failed to go off, and when I looked at my iPod, it was flashing between the “slide to unlock” screen ans the screen that is black and just shows the “apple” logo. It will not power off the usual way, but I did get it to power off by holding in the power button and the home button at the same time. When I powered it back on, it still was doing the same thing, and it isn’t responding to anything, not even when I plug it into my laptop. The odd thing is that it will still sync with iTunes, and I can still put media on or take it off. However, the screen will NOT stop flashing. Does anybody know what may be wrong with it or how to fix it? Thanks. 🙂

try putting it in DFU mode and restoring 😛
(put in DFU mode by plugging it into your computer, holding power and home buttons for 10 secs, then release the power button, and keep holding home until a little message pops up in itunes)
