Question by zorzo z: is there a way to advance to the next song on ipod touch without constantly unlocking it?
i recently made the switch from using an ipod classic to an ipod touch. i love the touch for many reasons, except for when i’m working out or running. i liked the ipod classic because it was always easy to move to the next song or the previous song by pressing the buttons on the ipod. i never had to look down at the ipod.
but with the ipod touch, i have to look down at the touch screen, hit “slide to unlock” and then touch the button that takes me to the next song. seems like a pain to always have to look down and slide to unlock.
there must be a way in ipod touch to fix this. anyone know how?

Simple! Just double-click the center button. And even though your ipod is locked, the song will come up, then you can rewind it or fast forward, or pause/change the song. I just found this out and it saves much time when I’m working out, plus you don’t have to keep unlocking it.
