Reset A Computer Completely?
| October 30, 2009 | Posted by HTBP under How to Bypass |
mkay, so my mom and sister were picking someone up from the airport about a week and a half ago and they took a lost laptop to someone on the airport staff...the girl told them they could have it if they wanted b/c it had been there for over a week...so they were like "fricken sweet!" b/c because i need a new laptom and all...but they got it home and it is password protected...just wondering if there is any way to reset the computer completely without the password or a way to bypass it?
Read the thing on this site, there is some free software you instal on a disk on anouther comp and stick in the comp you found, hope you have fun XD http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administra…
I don't understand. No one bothered to track down the serial number printed on the bottom of the laptop or anything? Come on. You know the airport staff probably barely lifted a finger to look for the owner. Call the company that made the laptop, and see if they can find out who it is registered to based on the serial numbers on the bottom. Laptops are expensive investments. The person may have given up looking for it thinking it was stolen and they'd never get it back. I know I'd be pretty sad if I lost something like that.
Hey i found this source interesting...hope its helpful to youhttp://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/pub00…
Good Luck
if it's a startup password, you need to remove the mobo battery.
otherwise, reformat and enjoy.
Make a fresh installation of windows in that laptop and enjoy dear. hahaha ....Congrats =)
