i took my ipod touch to my bffs house yesterday and i left it in my bag in a tent, (bc we were gonna be sleeping in a tent only a few feet from her house) and it was really rainy we found out later that the rain got in because of her dog the tent was soaked but i salvaged my ipod (or so i thought)...the day before it was dead, so i had to come home and charge it of course so the fact that it was dead has nothing to do with her,
IM NOT SURE IF THAT IS REALLY RELEVANT, MAYBE THAT PART HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!?
anyways i got home a few hours ago (shockingly...it seems like forever ago.)
and i put my ipod in a charger that plays music while it charges. it started playing the last song i had listened to before it died. (hello fascination by breathe carolina, not that that's important) i go to plug it into my computer, open itunes, and it says "can not backup the iphone "soferjack's ipod" for reasons unknown." OR SOMETHING SIMILAR. and so it tells me to restore it to a previous setting. i'm like what the hell my music is all illegal anyways who cares,
so i restore it it restores it to like, 3 days ago (the last time i synced it.)
and i put in headphones and click play and it's playing some random song, "stephen" by Ke$ ha. a) i do have her album b) i was not listening to that earlier, shouldn't it have been playing the last thing i listened to? c) WTF?!
so, i TRY TO CHANGE THE SONG,
AND I CANT.
i can't slide it. you know it says "SLIDE TO UNLOCK" AND I CANT.
NOTHING I TOUCH DOES ANYTHING.
it's an ipod touch, and when i touch it, it doesn't detect it.
i thought, "maybe power it off?"
BUT U HAVE TO SLIDE TO POWER OFF
AND AGAIN I CANT DO THAT
anyone help me!!?
idk if i have a warranty, how do you check?
ugh this sucks it's a 32gb it costed 300 dollars and i still haven't paid my parents back we don't have the money for a new one Jesus Christ,
ANYONE?
HELP ME ITS F***ING SCREWED UP.
now it's palying Muse. don't mind but i do like to control my songs and play my apps HELP

put it in a bag of dry white rice ziplocked for a few days. it will help dry out the water and works usually

My 2 year old daughter got her hands on our Ipod and started pushing buttons. Now a screen comes up that says "Enter Code to Unlock" and is asking for a 4 digit code. I don't know how to reset this nor know of what code it is asking for. Has this happened to anyone else? How can I fix this?

I jailbroke my ipod a couple weeks ago, and I really like that I can customize a lot of the features, etc. But I want to make a custom slider message, like I have a Lamborghini slider, it has the Lamborghini icon, and says "Lamborghini," instead of "Slide to unlock." Soo. I want to know how I can make my own message, In other words I want the regular slider icon, I just want to put a custom message instead of "Slide to unlock." is there an add on that will allow me to enter custom messages, or would I have to completely make a slider theme. And if I have to do that how would I go about doing that? I am new to all this jailbreaking stuff, and am trying to learn. Thanks in advance!

My uncle is going to give me his Iphone since he doesnt want it anymore, but I have T-mobile. I've heard about people "Jailbreaking / unlocking" the phone, but is it bad? - Will I still get the full potential of the iPhone with T-mobile? Where can I get someone to do it? And I've heard rumors that if you use an iPhone with T-mobile you wont be able to get anymore upgrades.

Yes you can use an iPhone on T-Mobile you just have to have it unlocked. Either youtube it and do it yourself (really simple now) or you can have someone else do it for you, look on craigslist people usually charge around $ 15. If you do use it on T-Mobile you won't be able to use 3G speeds only Edge.

i have jailbroken my 3g ipod touch. i downloaded the free version of "iLock" on Cydia and i changed the password. i locked my ipod and turned it back on and now it's just my wallpaper and the clock! the "slide to unlock" isn't there and the new customized password isn't there either. i don't know how to fix it. please help! thank you so much!

I know this sucks but u should either reboot ur iPod (if it's untethered) or restore it, to remove the jailbreak, but that'll fix it

I want to play the zombies thing with the presidents which comes up after the campaign. I accidentally skipped this after i finished the campaign as i was in a hurry. I want to play it now. Ive tried entering the "3arc unlock" cheat at the computer and it says cheat enabled, but i dont know how to start it. Do i have to do he last mission again.

i have this i560 that my brother gave me and he put a "UNLOCK CODE" on the phone and he doesn't remember what he put it as! And he doesn't know what the "SECURITY CODE" is eather!!!!

didnt you read my answer. i post everthing there.
as unlock the city, you also unlock car shop, just like upgrade shop. some car shops are in locked city.

they are marked with light blue color on the map ,no you have to beat win races to unlock parts .
