I'd like to know what I can do to unlock or unblock a Verizon pre-paid phone so we can hook it up with Page Plus pre-paid cellular service. Here in NC, Page Plus is a great company that everyone is going with and they do accept certain Verizon phones (even pre-paid phones) to do the transfer. But if I bring in a phone and they can't program it, it's because it's "blocked" or "locked". Does anyone know how to "unlock" or "unblock" it so that we can get it freed up for service? Or do you recommend me taking it to any "specialists" in this? Thanks!!!
This is a Samsung Verizon phone with no SIM card in it. It's a pre-paid phone. My Mexican friend gave it to me.

you would need software/a program for that but i would just go to them first and asking them if they could do it and if not it cost around 10 to 20 bucks for and average phone to unlock .. you can get the directions and codes to unlock your phone on the internet ...

ok, for some reason there are red minus signs on my buddy "offline" list. i have AIM triton, and i dont know how to "unblock" these people. i dont even know how i did it. please, if u know, give me specific instructions in how to unblock them.

I have the regular Yahoo mail not yahoo beta but all I do is click on options on my mail page and in there is "block addresses". Just click on there. Underneath where you add the blocked addresses there is a button that says remove block. Just highlight the address that you want the block removed from and click "remove block". Hope this is what you are looking for. :)

I have an e-mail contact that I recently blocked and now I have re-considered and I want to "unblock" the e-mail address.

For New Yahoo Mail go to options -> mail options -> spam, for Yahoo mail classic go to options -> block addresses.
For both mail versions check the list of blocked addresses which shows numerical order first, then alphabetical order. When you find the mail, mark it, click "remove block". Now you can get emails from that person as before.

On my work computer you can only get to wedsites that the IT team has "unblocked." All others come up "Site blocked by local policy." I know there is a way around this because someone at work has done it for me before. He no longer works at the company and last weekend they reimaged our computers. We are running Windows 2000 if that helps. They only thing I know about how it was done is that he went into some file/folder/doc and switched around a one and a zero. I don't know how much longer I can go with out the internet at work!

Depending on which email you are using, either go to contact options or email filter. Check what strength you have your filter on or check who you have blocked, there you can unblock them.
