i want to buy the iphone 4 in america and then be able to bring it back, and "unlock" (?) if needed and then get it a sim for a plan or prepaid so it will function perfectly in australia. is it possible and how can i do it?
I dont want to order it or get a different phone, i want to BUY physically BUY an Iphone4 in AMERICA, bring it back here to AUSTRALIA and make it work here, i need details on unlocking it and getting a sim and plan thing for it so it works here in australia.

I just started playing today and I'm practically at the very beginning. I expected it to be an alright game, but imagine my delight when I found out that you can nick stuff. Sure, I expected the usual, "Oh look, a hidden chest to unlock!" or "Wow! I got a totally unexpected item from an enemy or benefactor", but it looks to me like you can take anything that's not nailed down. I can't help but be impressed at this fun little detail since the game must have a boat load of different items and the creators probably had to spend alot of time adding in this neat little feature when they could have just went "Let's not make it too complex and keep practically all objects as background". I also have to admire their audacity by throwing in something that could possibly foster real thievery. In short, it's hilarious.

So, what are the rules for this? I don't have the guidebook, and I want to know. I already know that you can only hoard so much stuff, and that you can probably sell it. So what else? Can I take stuff when other people are nearby or will they stuff me in a casket full or crab meat as punishment? What's off limits and can stealing excessively cause alot of problems?

At first I was kind of iffy about stealing something from off of someone's plate. After all, who's been eating it and how much lower can you go? But the idea was so hilarious I couldn't resist. lol XD I haven't had this much fun since I anal probed people on Destroy All Humans.

you can steal what you want but it does have consequences. You can go to jail for it, because people will snitch on you or in some cases attack you. If you are going to take something you need to take it without anyone seeing you. The other issue is that those items aren't as easy to sell. It's really a long list of pro's and con's but here's pretty much the gist.

cons
1. you can get attacked
2. you can get arrested
3. they aren't easy to sell without a fence

pros.
1 quick cash
2. sometimes a more powerful item that you have

So you decide what you want to do, either or like you in most games I steal also.

My uncle is going to give me his Iphone since he doesnt want it anymore, but I have T-mobile. I've heard about people "Jailbreaking / unlocking" the phone, but is it bad? - Will I still get the full potential of the iPhone with T-mobile? Where can I get someone to do it? And I've heard rumors that if you use an iPhone with T-mobile you wont be able to get anymore upgrades.

Yes you can use an iPhone on T-Mobile you just have to have it unlocked. Either youtube it and do it yourself (really simple now) or you can have someone else do it for you, look on craigslist people usually charge around $ 15. If you do use it on T-Mobile you won't be able to use 3G speeds only Edge.

I have bought a few unlocked phones that were brand new from ebay and they are still working great. I did not have a problem switching over my plan or anything. The good thing is that if you have a problem you can return it to your seller for a full refund. Just check out the sellers feedback score before you buy first. If there is any other problem, PayPal would get your money back for you. Good Luck!

This cell phone uses a SIM card. I am told that VZW Verizon doesnt use SIM cards, and it will not work (GSM vs. CDMA) stuff. I have read that if the phone were to be "unlocked" and other techno stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The phone is a Cingulair (pink) razor a '3' model. :)

Hi!,
first off... is there an ATT logo on your sim or a cingular logo?

if ATT

your phone needs an update....*most* customer care reps know how to do this...but alas some dont... call cutomer care tell them you are activating a new device on the service... read them the IMEI from the phone

The IMEI can be displayed by dialling the code *#06#

write this number down its 15 digits long

give the care rep the imei and tell them your phone model is an X426...they will update your service and your phone will work...

if cingular

same except tell them its a 427M

You cannot compare a quad-core to a six-core CPU directly. There are other factors that contribute to the performance of the two CPUs.

Since most applications still do not utilize a quad-core fully, the 3.4GHz quad-core will probably out-perform the 2.2GHz six-core. Of course, this might not be the case when all 6 cores can be used.

Unlocking cores is just like unlocking pipelines. Sometimes, the manufacturer will disable a core or a pipeline to make it a lower-end model, even though the core/pipeline is still on the card physically. Then, a person can just activate them using a program (at least for pipelines, you can use Rivatuner. I don't know how to exactly unlock cores).

Keep in mind that the CPU isn't specifically designed to have all cores enabled. If you do enable the cores, make sure the CPU is able to deal with the extra heat.
