I’ve used avast to get rid of most of the virus but some of the things it’s deleted were system32 files that were critical to logging in and to the computer.
I’m planning on reformatting my computer as soon as I get the disk.
I’m running PuppyLinux right now and it says that there is a network connection but when I try going to a webpage it doesn’t let me.
Any suggestions on what I can do to bypass this virus and be able to access the Internet.
Right now I’m just using my iPod touch.

Hmmm… My suggestion would be to get rid of (or ignore) the Internet Browser from your computer, and install a new one.
For example, I had preinstalled IE, but after several errors with it, I am now using FireFox.
Anyways, have you tried looking on: http://linux.about.com/od/softbrowser/Li...
for some Internet Browsers?
you should of spent the money on Norton’s internet security and anti virus and saves yourself a lot of headaches, everything that is free is not always good.
Try Restoring your computer to an earlier time
Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore
boot in safemode and run your antivirus
