Why Does My Computer Beep When I Hold Down Four Or More Keys On My Keyboard?

im trying to play a game on my computer [Mortal Kombat trilogy] and one features has you hold down 5 keys [get a male ninja and hold down Z A Spacebar C and Left] well, wheni do that, nothing happens and this beeping noise comes from the inside of my computer and doesnt stoppo until i let up. Why? iAlso noticed that when i type something and i hold down 5 buttons, nothng types. So im thinking windows disables keys until you let up? Anyways to bypass this or disable this?
nope - you will need to get a special gaming controller for anything more than 3 keys at a time
