Why is my iPod Touch doing this?

Question by Laura: Why is my iPod Touch doing this?
I have a 4th generation iPod Touch and have had it for quite some time now. I have a passcode key needed to open it. Usually, when you press the home or lock/unlock button, the thing that says “slide to unlock” shows up. But when I pressed the lock/unlock button, it didn’t make me sign in. It didn’t even show the slide to unlock thing. It just opened to my Twitter page. I thought this was just a glitch or something, so I let it be. But then it happened again. I was about to try it again, but the third time not only did it open without showing the slide to unlock yadyadya, it was all black except for the part at the top where it shows the word iPod, the wifi signal, the time, and the battery. I plugged it into the charger, and the battery sign showed that the charger was in, but nothing happened. I tried pressing the home button but nothing happened. I tried pressing the lock/unlock button, but STILL, nothing happened. Please help.

  1. I had something like this happen to mine. Try pressing the lock/unlock button and home button at the same time until the screen turns black. Then it will show the apple sign like when it turns on. When it’s done it will most likely go back to normal. Hope this helps!
